I haven't been keeping up with this blog at all. but i'm going to start. I've mostly posted over at Livejournal but I wanted somewhere to post about my more modern sewing as in sewing patterns from the '40s and '50s. Ill keep my livejournal for my 1800's dresses.
This week I just finished the pattern Hollywood 410 which if I remember correctly is from the 1940s. I really loved working with this pattern. It was the first

Hollywood pattern I have used and I really want to find more now. I only had the problem with the collar but once i figured it out it went together really fast. I also really love seersucker now. It's so comfy and its lightweight.
It looks really cute. I love seersucker too.
